I had chronicled a few months back this type of "event" happening throughout the country, and it's great to report on them again.

For reference "Battel" is where men battle in kaiju costumes
while in a giant wrestling ring.Sometimes there's even fake city backdrops to add to the illusion of a giant monster-battle!
As the article from wired.com perfectly states, "Think Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah in the WWE with scaled-down papier-mâché buildings perfect for blindsiding opponents when the ref isn’t looking".
Great stuff!
I wish such events occurred down in here Austin, TX...but oh well. I would so go to them front row and watch all of the action as it happens!
