It looks like Godzilla is going to invade the San Diego Comic Con again, this time with S. H. MonsterArts providing an exclusive toy for the event!
Here's what they have to state about the upcoming show:
"Get ready to celebrate destruction this July 2012! Bandai Japan’s Collectors label, Tamashii Nations, is proud to announce a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive that will blow the roof off with S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla™ (Comic-Con® Explosion)! Featuring a unique fiery explosion color scheme and twenty-nine points of articulation, this high-end collectable action figure has been professionally crafted by the renowned monster maker Yuji Sakai to meticulously replicate Godzilla’s form as seen in the 1994 Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla (commonly referred to as "MogeGoji").
llustrated by prominent Japanese artist and character designer, Yasushi Torisawa, exclusive package art commemorates San Diego Comic-Con International 2012, and appropriately depicts the beloved San Diego Convention Center being attacked by Godzilla. Run to the Bluefin booth while supplies still last…and then run for your life!"
What a kickass piece of news and a kickass toy too!
Hmmm...with Godzilla invading the SDCC all over again ala 2010 show, could we be having some future Godzilla movie news coming with it?

Godzilla Image of the Day
Katsu Burger's Godzilla Attacks Monday Nights!
In Seattle anytime soon?
Ever feel like actually eating Godzilla?
Well then you're in luck as Katsu's Burger have introduced what they call the "Godzilla Attack Burger"!
Here's what the have to say about this mouth-watering burger:
"As befits a burger named for a demon of destruction, the monstrous patty survives its bath in boiling oil. On the bun, it receives a smothering in a variety of umami-laced sauces (traditional tonkatsu, spicy Japanese mayonnaise), yet the deep-fried, panko crunch on the outside remains in tact as a strong foil to the tender beef within. On the Godzilla Attack Burger, that promise of fire-breathing powers comes in the form of jalapeƱos layered under the burger."
If that doesn't make you want to order this burger asap I don't what will...although I could do without the jalapenos and mayonnaise.

Some updated Gareth Edwards news potentially coming soon?
FINALLY some updated Gareth Edwards news!
It looks like on May 19th and the 20th the Kapow Comic Convention will be held in London, and special guest Gareth Edwards will hold a Q&A there!
Gareth Edwards is of course the director of the upcoming "Godzilla" reboot from Legendary Pictures.
No doubt much of the questions fielded by the audience will be Godzilla related, and he's bound to produce some updates on the film.
I mean he can't just state "no comment" on every question...he's bound to say something in terms of where the movie stands right now right?
I'll keep everyone up to date on any news that occurs from this event, and will look for upcoming videos of the Q&A too.
For information on the event you can check it out here:

'Godzilla' attacks Las Vegas, eyes Fairfield
Who knew that Godzilla had a classical composer fan?
On May 19th the Roger Ludlowe Middle School theater in Las Vegas will hold a special musical event by the Connecticut Woodwind Quintet.
As the article from newstimes.com states, "A highlight of the program will be Eric Whitacre's campy "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas," accompanied by a visual presentation of "monstrous proportions."
That's pretty much all it states about this, which leaves one to wonder if it will involve some past Godzilla Soundtracks...or maybe a slideshow/presentation of Godzilla attacking Las Vegas set to some original action music...or who knows what else.
I'm interested in checking it out but unfortunately my upcoming trip to Vegas will be months off...so alas I won't be able to see it.
If you're in town though that day here's all the info needed on where it's being held:
