Outside the box: 15 People You’ll See At Every Comic Convention
I wish I knew who "OBP" was so I could give credit for the fantastic image, but here's his great rendition of the 15 people you'll always see at every comic con
.I love Comic cons...well have a love/hate relationship really considering how expensive they've gotten...but the point is that I still go to them.
And sure enough this image NAILS who most of the people are.
If you had to number the people in this drawing from left to right, who I always see are:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 (loosely), 10 (especially), 11, 12, and 14.
12 especially makes me laugh as there is always some regular personnel there just weirded out by the craziness they see!

Godzilla Video of the Day
Who knew that Godzilla 1985
had a music video?Apparently so...
An ultra-rare video of sorts, it was released when Godzilla 1985 was first screening at US theaters.
It's unknown if this is an "official" music video for the film as there seems to just be a montage of scenes playing over the lyrics...but who knows.
One thing is certain...it sure does play like a plug-in for Dr. Pepper, which of course was featured prominently in the film.
The video apparently only played once on MTV, on the day that the film first premiered, and has never been seen since outside of Youtube.
So a big thanks to the early Godzilla fans who were able to hold onto this recording for this long!

Matthew Broderick Spotted in New York, Employs Strange New Anti-Photography Device
actor Matthew Broderick.Nothing really significant here, just the author stating that he happened to see Matthew leaving a theater and asked for his photo.
Apparently Matthew was kind enough to take two pictures for the fan...but unfortunately both times the pictures came out so skewed what you see here is the end result.
Matthew seems like a nice enough guy...but if I had to describe him in one word it's probably "terse".
I.e. he'll put up with something to be nice but not an ounce more than ever needed.
I've always thought that he probably hated his work on "Godzilla".
Proof comes from the fact that he's never brought up the film after the screening...nor has he ever championed for the sequel that never came to be...nor has he ever worked again with the Devlin/Emmerich team afterward on anything else.
If anything the role was just another paying gig, and after the movie sank critically he probably distanced himself as much as possible from it.
Looking back it's shocking that he would ever agree to the role in the first place. He doesn't seem like the kind of actor who likes to quote lines like "That's a lot of fish", so if I had to guess I'd say he was probably annoyed with the entire shoot.
I don't know why I say that...it just seems like that's the most accurate mentality he probably had on a film.

"Godzilla" and "King Kong vs Godzilla" showcasing at the American Museum of and Science and Energy
(you know there are still some out there) and King Kong vs. Godzilla
will now have a chance to see both on the big screen again!The American Museum of Science and Energy is screening several films related to big screen beasts and the atomic age.
As such they've wisely included these two Godzilla films within their screenings, which is a huge treat for any Godzilla fan out there!
Located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, "King Kong vs Godzilla" will screen on November 30th while "Godzilla" will screen December 14th.
Looks like a lot of fun, which I could be there.
