What you're looking at is the "Kewpie Godzilla
" trinket, one specifically designed to add to your keyring/cell phone as a charm....boy does that toy look weird.
Very cute, but weird...and creepy.
In what possible way could this concept have ever worked. How can a little plastic baby, a charm trinket dressed as Godzilla, ever be in demand.
Now I can see a baby Godzilla-costume as being a hot item.
What Godzilla fan/parent wouldn't love to dress their baby as Godzilla, complete with the cute little tail and cotton spikes on the back.
I'm certain such a thing would be all the rage at comic cons.
But this...I don't know.
Plus the toy here is very small (less than a finger) so they could easily be lost or misplaced.
