Fresh off of SCARFACE JACOB & CO WATCH feature the other day, comes the sad news that the actor who played the SCARFACE villain THE SKULL has passed away. His name was GENO SILVA, and he passed away at the age of 72. I’ll be the first to admit that I had no idea who GENO was, nor have I ever seen any of his other work. But boy oh boy did he play such a memorable role out of THE SKULL. His role is quite possibly the most infamous, non-speaking cameo in cinematic history. If anyone else can find a more impactful one without having one word uttered by the character...I’d love to see it. From the moment THE SKULL was on screen you could just tell he was serious business. With his ever present shades (even at night!), his slowly methodical moves, and his unwavering demeanor, you knew this guy was destined to do something big. And he did!
